What Medical Services Does The HMA® Pay For?

The Health Matching Account (HMA®) is a non-qualified, medical benefit savings product that pays for most out-of-pocket, medical expenses that your health insurance and Medicare does not cover. You can access your HMA® program benefits to pay for your qualifying medical needs by using your HMA® Medical Benefits ID Card with your health care providers. Health Matching Account Services will work with your providers to verify both the eligibility of the service and that you have a sufficient amount of medical benefits available in your HMA® program to pay for this medical expense. No further action will need to be taken by the HMA® participant at their providers.

The medical services listed below can be paid for with your HMA® Medical Benefits ID Card and covers a vast majority of qualifying, 213 (d) medical expenses.
